The first Myanmar Developers Conference was held in Yangon in 2010. After passing years, the conference got more participants. It is one of the best initiative in Myanmar technology industry. The event is organized by Ko Ravi and some other geeks who are recognized as the first Myanmar geeks. They are also group of entrepreneurs who started Barcamp Yangon.
This year 2014 is the 4th Anniversary of Developers Conference held in Yangon. In order to welcome, honor and celebrate the 4th Anniversary of DevCon, 4 words were employed as this year Theme which encompassed the enthusiasm, emotion, eternity and excitement of common habits of information communication technology developers, aslo known as eDevelopers.It is dedicated to those who are engaging, embracing, enjoying, exciting in the arena of ubiquitous and state-of-the-art information communication technology.
I am not a developer. I just learned HTML and CSS. But I must go. In Myanmar, people usually think that they don't need to know any other things except what they are doing. Actually, people deserve knowing. We deserve knowing every things of life. We are life long learners. Learning never dies. Attending a particular event or conference doesn't mean that we have to follow that career. And one more thing is that those who are developing career basing on internet and digital things, coding knowledge is a must.
To the event, both local and global developers join and share their knowledge. We also say that the conference is an another Barcamp which is dedicated to developers and programmers.
